Our Purpose

Our Purpose: NABC is a community of believers that seeks to glorify God by making and equipping passionate followers of Christ through upholding the principles of His Word. We seek to love and serve all people while proclaiming that true victory comes only through the Love of Jesus Christ.

To accomplish our purpose, we value:

The Glory of God: It is our desire to do all things to the glory of God. God has saved us for His glory and so we seek to glorify Him in all things. Our corporate worship and all of our ministries are intentionally focused on lifting up His name and to give Him praise. 1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 1:17, Ephesians 1:9-12, John 4:24

Exalting Jesus Christ: We are dedicated to lifting up Jesus Christ in every ministry within and outside of the church. We encourage and equip every member to be Christ-like in their daily living by being totally committed. Colossians 1:13-23, Hebrews 12:1-3

The Word of God: God’s Word, the Bible, is our only source of truth. We value the clear teaching of His Word in all that we do. We believe that the Bible is timeless and is relevant to all people in all times to reveal what it means to be in a right relationship with God. 2 Timothy 3:16, 4:2, John 17:17, Romans 10:17

Prayer: We value prayer as a means through which we communicate with God and through which He brings about eternal change. Luke 11:1-13

Community: God has called all believers into a living community that is called the church. It is in this context that we best experience the Christian life through mutual accountability and encouragement. Acts 2:42, 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Peter 2:9, Hebrews 10:24-25

Making Disciples Through Ministry to All People: The gospel compels us to strive in serving one another as we seek to develop bonding relationships that show forth the love of Christ through His grace, mercy, and forgiveness. We desire to accomplish this at NABC by developing a life long ministry with all people that is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, living and walking in the Spirit, as we anchor our souls in the Word of God. This love must show itself in reaching our local community, and in supporting missions throughout the world. Matthew 28:18-20, John 15:1-17, Mark 1:16-18, Ephesians 4:11-12, 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, James 2:17

Excellence in Ministry: There is no perfect church this side of heaven, but we desire to do all things well. We believe God honors and values a church striving after this goal. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, 14:40
